Pulse launches Catalyst MCP, enabling banks, fintechs and telcos to connect proprietary customer intelligence to loyalty execution.
March 24, 2026
Pulse today announced the launch of MCP (Model Context Protocol) within Catalyst, its enterprise loyalty management platform, giving banks, fintechs and telcos a new way to activate their own customer intelligence through loyalty.
As organisations invest in AI agents, decisioning systems and proprietary personalisation models, many face a growing challenge: how to turn those decisions into real customer engagement actions quickly, securely and at scale.
Traditionally, this has required complex API integrations between internal systems and engagement platforms, often forcing customer data and decision logic to move between environments.
Catalyst MCP introduces a different approach
Catalyst MCP acts as the execution layer between internal decisioning engines and end customer engagement. Organisations can connect their internal decisioning systems directly to Catalyst, allowing them to trigger loyalty actions while keeping customer data, models and decision logic within their own environment.
Systems such as next-best-action engines, internal personalisation models, customer intelligence platforms or conversational assistants can determine the right loyalty action in real time. Catalyst then executes that action through its loyalty infrastructure, reward marketplace, campaign orchestration and fulfilment capabilities. For example, when a bank’s decisioning engine detects that a customer has reached a savings milestone, it can instantly trigger a tailored reward through Catalyst — without exposing customer data outside the bank.
The launch reflects growing demand for more flexible loyalty architecture, where organisations can combine Catalyst’s loyalty, orchestration and engagement capabilities with their own proprietary data, models and decisioning systems when needed. This enables a shift from campaign-based loyalty to always-on, real-time engagement.
This model gives organisations more choice in how they deploy intelligence through Catalyst. Existing internal decisioning systems can trigger customer journeys faster through the platform, while teams looking to extend or complement their current capabilities gain a more open and scalable foundation for loyalty innovation. Catalyst is designed to support thousands of real-time decision triggers and activate engagement across millions of customers instantly.
- In banking, this creates a more flexible way to connect internal decisioning and personalisation systems to loyalty without shifting sensitive customer logic outside the bank’s environment.
- Fintechs can deploy differentiated loyalty experiences faster using proprietary growth and engagement models.
- Telcos can activate more responsive retention and loyalty use cases triggered by service, usage and customer lifecycle signals.
The real opportunity for enterprises is not just generating intelligence, but turning it into customer value quickly. Catalyst MCP gives banks, fintechs and telcos a simpler way to activate proprietary decisioning and AI through loyalty, while benefiting from the scale, orchestration and execution capabilities of the Catalyst platform.
MCP enables a new generation of loyalty use cases including real-time rewards, conversational loyalty experiences and incentives triggered by proprietary customer signals. By connecting enterprise intelligence systems with Catalyst’s loyalty infrastructure, organisations can reduce integration complexity, accelerate speed to market and deliver more responsive, personalised engagement at scale.
